International Baccalaureate Program - Interested School!

We are pleased to announce that Eastwood Academy High School has decided to set out on a journey to become an International Baccalaureate World School. Our Site Based Decision Making Committee (SDMC) has approved full support of our intention to become an IB School. The application process demands time, resources and effort, therefore, we will begin to communicate the expectations to our incoming ninth grade applicants. The IB Diploma/Certificate Program is designed for highly motivated and academically gifted and talented students who take courses specifically intended to prepare them for international examinations at the end of their junior and senior year. Students who successfully complete the prestigious IB Diploma/Certificate Program can meet the academic challenges of the best domestic and foreign colleges and universities. Within short, our students will have the best world class education offered embedded with Advanced Placement, Dual-Credit Courses and the IB Certificate Program. The rigorous pre-university course of studies we currently have will be reinforced with the availability of IB Diploma and Certificate opportunities.
