P.T.O. meetings grow in attendance…Creating a College-Bound Family!
As we deliver our college-bound message to our students, we are also mastering the art of involving our families. Our P.T.O. membership keeps growing and the attendance to our meetings is truly admirable. At our last PTO meeting, we had the opportunity to create a scholarship fund for our school by selling prom dresses that were donated through our partnership with C.I.S. and Project GRAD. The dresses were sold at $25 and their retail value are at $100+ each. Additionally, Katleen Ownby from Spark Park provided a presentation to our parents about our plans to create a Spark Park. The Spark Park will be created along the same timelines as Eastwood builds our new Academic Wing. Education is a three legged stool created by the school, the parents and the students. Therefore, we want to show our appreciation to our parents for their dedication to our school. Most importantly, for their dedication to the future of our students.
