-Run-Learn-Serve-Lead- 25 Students Scheduled to Run this Sunday!

We have a total of 25 Students scheduled to run in the Houston Chevron Marathon this Sunday. The Eastwood College Prep Students are learning the meaning of running for a reason, service oriented projects and the importance of focusing on their health. Through the collaboration with our P.E. Teacher (Ms. Peña), Chavez High School and many corporate sponsors, Eastwood Academy High School will be having our first 5K runners participate in this weekend’s City-Wide Marathon. Additionally, our students will complete some of their volunteer hours immediately after the run as they support charitable organizations, cheer on runners and promote the meaning of community service, learning and running.
