Mr. Burgess

Welcome to IT Tech Certification. Mickey Burgess came to Houston ISD in 1998 to teach First Grade. He ran an IT business in Pasadena and online for seven years and now teaches Computer Maintenance and Networking at Eastwood Academy. He and his wife Maria live in SE Houston. His two sons, Max and Benji, attend Project Chrysalis and Cage Elementary, respectively and play baseball at Dixie Little League.

His philosophy of teaching is “Nobody cares how much you know until they know how much you care.”
